e.p.t.q. S100 is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler with lidocaine, manufactured by Jetema Co., Ltd. of South Korea. Why Uniform Particles Matter

A gel with widely varying particle sizes may give uneven extrusion force within the same syringe and less predictable distribution in tissue. Uniform particles give a more consistent gel texture, which helps the practitioner control small volumes at different depths.

Administration

Precautions

• Common reactions include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small lumps at the injection site.
• Product placed too superficially may cause visible lumps or a bluish discoloration (Tyndall effect).
• Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause vascular occlusion, which may lead to skin necrosis or, rarely, vision loss.
• Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Practitioners should keep hyaluronidase and an emergency protocol available.
• Seek medical attention immediately if there is severe pain, skin blanching or colour change, or any change in vision after treatment.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged, the syringe is cracked or the product is past its expiry date.
