Rejeunesse Deep with Lidocaine

Rejeunesse Deep is a sterile, transparent, monophasic gel of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) of non-animal origin, with 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride. It is manufactured in South Korea and is intended for the correction of medium to deep facial depressions and folds in the mid to deep dermis. For use by licensed healthcare professionals only.

How HA Cross-Linking Relates to Duration

After injection, hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body. Cross-linking slows this process, so the degree and method of cross-linking affect how long a filler remains in tissue.

Administration

• For use only by licensed healthcare professionals trained in dermal filler injection, facial vascular anatomy and the management of filler complications.
• Injection depth, technique, volume and treatment interval must follow the IFU and the treating physician’s judgment.
• Do not self-administer.

Precautions

• Common reactions include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small lumps at the injection site. Swelling of the lips may be more noticeable.
• Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause vascular occlusion, which may lead to skin necrosis or, rarely, vision loss. The nasolabial fold and lips lie close to the facial and labial arteries.
• Lip treatment may trigger a cold sore outbreak in people with a history of herpes simplex.
• Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Practitioners should keep hyaluronidase and an emergency protocol available.
• Seek medical attention immediately if there is severe pain, skin blanching or colour change, or any change in vision after treatment.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged, the syringe is cracked or the product is past its expiry date.
• Single use only. One syringe, one patient. Keep out of reach of children.

Who Should Consult a Physician First

• People with known allergy to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• People with infection, inflammation, cold sores or skin disease at the treatment area
• People with bleeding disorders or taking medicines that affect blood clotting
• People with autoimmune disease, a history of keloids or severe allergies
• People with facial implants or permanent fillers in the treatment area
• People under 18 years of age

Storage

Store according to the instructions on the carton and in the IFU. Do not freeze. Protect from direct sunlight. Refer to the carton for the expiry date.
