THE CHAEUM Premium No.4 with Lidocaine

THE CHAEUM Premium No.4 is a monophasic cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler with lidocaine, developed by Hugel of South Korea through its subsidiary Across. It is the fourth and firmest gel in the Premium line, with the highest cross-linking level and elasticity (G′) of the four products. It is designed for injection into the subcutaneous layer for facial contouring and volume restoration, such as chin augmentation. Each box contains two 1.1 ml pre-filled syringes. Where No.4 Fits in the Premium Line

• The THE CHAEUM Premium line has four products, No.1 to No.4. They differ in cross-linking rate, concentration, elasticity and recommended injection depth.
• G′ values per the manufacturer: No.1 80 Pa, No.2 180 Pa, No.3 300 Pa, No.4 400 Pa (each ± 15 Pa).
• The manufacturer’s indication chart lists No.4 for the chin. No.3 is listed for the forehead and nose, and No.1 and No.2 for finer lines around the eyes and mouth.

Administration

• For use only by licensed healthcare professionals trained in dermal filler injection, facial vascular anatomy and the management of filler complications.
• Technique, volume and treatment interval must follow the IFU and the treating physician’s judgment.
• Do not self-administer.

Precautions

• Common reactions include redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and small lumps at the injection site.
• Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause vascular occlusion, which may lead to skin necrosis or, rarely, vision loss. Deeper injection does not remove this risk.
• Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Practitioners should keep hyaluronidase and an emergency protocol available.
• Seek medical attention immediately if there is severe pain, skin blanching or colour change, or any change in vision after treatment.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged, the syringe is cracked or the product is past its expiry date.
• Single use only. One syringe, one patient. Keep out of reach of children.

Who Should Consult a Physician First

• People with known allergy to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide-type local anaesthetics
• Pregnant or breastfeeding women
• People with infection, inflammation, cold sores or skin disease at the treatment area
• People with bleeding disorders or taking medicines that affect blood clotting
• People with autoimmune disease, a history of keloids or severe allergies
• People with facial implants or permanent fillers in the treatment area
• People under 18 years of age

Storage

Store between 2°C and 25°C. Protect from direct sunlight and freezing. Shelf life is 24 months. Refer to the carton for the expiry date.
